Well, I've been sitting on this design for too long, worrying for too long, letting my perfectionist tendencies bombard me for too long. And I've realized this for a long time now, but never done anything about it. That ends now.
This simple, yet (I presume) stylish design has been percolating in my Dropbox folder for at least this entire year to date. I've kept adding to it, refining it, poking and prodding it, trying to melt it down and pour it into the Wordpress mold as a custom theme. Then I came to the point where I would simply put it up as a straight HTML5/CSS3 site with some PHP to include frequently used sections, such as the header, footer, and sidebar. That begins now, with this post.
Hopefully I don't go quite so long between stream of consciousness / opinion projectile word-vomiting sessions, but if I do, I'll try to assuage my guilt with the idea that this site isn't a blog, it's not a commodity, and it's certainly not a business. This is a place where I can play around with some web code, shoot the proverbial shit, and talk about things I find interesting, disturbing, or inspiring and hopefully impress whoever happens to stumble onto my little corner of the Internet.
So let's get this rambling started, shall we?
